Finally! The summer’s over

Is it just me that prefers fall to summer? Certainly not. Rhetorical question, haha. Summer places high demands on you - an injunction to enjoy, to celebrate, to feel, to be happy. It places a lot of pressure on your body and mind. I suppose I’m not the kind of person who goes to the countryside to relax in summer - not typically, anyway - I spend it all in the city, living fast and having all sorts of intense experiences in the humidity and the sweltering heat. I’m happy to finally feel like I can withdraw into myself, into all the secret, hidden places whose pleasures are more subtle.

That’s just to say that I’m still alive, still looking after this blog, still enjoying all kinds of secret adventures with lovers new and old. I’m looking forward to a lot of meetings this fall - to go a bit slower, a bit deeper.
