Dare I dream a little dream? But before I lose myself - I want to give a big thanks to everyone who made my visit to London in May so special. Perhaps we’ll see each other again before long…

The summer is the perfect time for sashimi and my visit to London has me missing the quality of offerings there. I recently said, somewhat arrogantly, that Japanese food in London blows Berlin out of the water, but I’ve heard such good things about this place that it’s possible I may be wrong. Balkan Erotic Epic at Gropius Bau (until August 30)

I know, I know, Abramovic is a bit of a cliché at this point… still, wouldn’t you rather make up your mind yourself?

But perhaps you’re more the type for a stroll around a rose garden. I’m also partial to the one at Volkspark Humboldthain, and I love going into the lookout tower afterwards and seeing all of Berlin spread out before me. I truly do love Berlin, and even having been here almost a decade it never bores me. It’s good to be home.
